Craft & Grill Festival Rijeka

Rijeka is well known in Croatia as a city of rock music and awesome craft beer. If you would like to have a taste of both, this is the perfect festival for you!

Enjoy awesome street food accompanied by renowned craft breweries from across the region, gastronomic delicacies created by Croatian chefs, concerts, beer quizzes, show cooking…

Festival is opened from Monday till Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight & on weekends from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

27th International Small Scene Theatre Festival Rijeka

If you’re here the first week of May 2022, make sure to visit at least one of many theatre performances from both Croatian and foreign groups at 27th International Small Scene Theatre Festival Rijeka.

This year’s Festival theme is quite an interesting one – dysfunctional families. The performances will deal with people who should be close, but whose world is plagued by demons of adultery, deception, absent fathers, and the search for meaning … Taking the lead from Tolstoy’s: “All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way“, this year’s Festival presents a wide selection of unhappy families.

Tickets can be purchased from April 11th at Information center, (Ri Info), Korzo 18b from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or on the day of the show, one hour before the beginning at the venue.

Oldtimer auto rally Rijeka 2022

Vintage is making a comeback in Rijeka! It’s always exciting to see classic car meeting. A very special experience are of course the rallies! And this one takes place in the hearth of the Rijeka city – the main street Korzo. Over 80 cars will arrive from 8 till 10 a.m. and the rally starts at 10:30 a.m.

The route: Rijeka (Korzo) – Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa – Preluk – Opatija – Matulji – Adriatic Gate Container Terminal – Grobnik Airport.

Russian Circles + Helms Alee Concert Rijeka 2022

The anthological instrumental post metal trio Russian Circles is coming to Rijeka for an exclusive concert at the Pogon Kulture concert hall.

Stand-up comedy Festival Rijeka 2022

Time of event: May 13th – May 15th

The first ever stand-up comedy festival in Rijeka takes place this May! It brings together comedians from Split, Rijeka and Zagreb. It’s a result of a collaboration of 5 comedy collectives and 7 different comedians who will entertain the Rijeka audience in 3 different shows.

Festival is held in Kalvarija Cultural Center (RiTeatar), Kalvarija 8, Rijeka.

Unfortunately, for the time being the organizers do not plan to have any shows in English. So make sure to bring a Croatian friend with you to help you with the translations.

Fiumare, the festival of the sea and maritime traditions

This time we are going vintage thanks to the tireless sea and maritime enthusiasts! “Fiumare” – Kvarner festival of the sea and maritime tradition takes Rijeka back 100 years. This is the time when the area around Dead Canal was a place of intense daily commercial traffic.

The event is mainly located on the Mrtvi kanal channel and on the area of Verdi Street by the Ivan pl. Zajc Croatian National Theatre. You’ll see traditional wooden sailboats anchored in Dead Canal and traders and craftsmen in traditional costumes. You can take part in interactive workshops of maritime and fishing skills and ship modelling. The festival includes traditional songs and dances, gastronomic offer of authentic dishes and wines, organised sightseeing of theatres and historical locations of the city centre, traditional sailboat regattas…

The 5th International WineRi Festival

This is very special treat for all wine lovers! WineRi is the only festival of its kind in the City of Rijeka, a city proclaimed the European Capital of Culture in 2020.

Rijeka Wine Festival 2022 brings hundreds of wines from around Croatia right to your palette in a fun, lively atmosphere. More than 50 talented vendors and exhibitors, amazing discounts on all featured wines and much more!

The 5th International WineRi Festival will be held on May 27th and May 28th 2022 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. in a 300 m2 transparent exclusive tent in Rijeka centre.
